Experience

Mr. Bakshi is a seasoned finance executive with over 25 years of global work experience spanning several industries like steel manufacturing, mining, power and renewables, infrastructure, agriculture, technology and public accounting. With his unique global perspective, Mr. Bakshi had the privilege of operating from Canada, UAE, India, Singapore and Indonesia and has covered transactions globally. Mr. Bakshi is a senior advisor & mentor to many start-ups due to unique blend of financial perspectives garnered over the years through positions he held as Chief Financial Officer with companies in various industries as well as years dedicated to Investment Banking.

Transactions include: Sale of minority stake in DP World Jebel Ali Port by CDPW and Hassana(US$23 billion); establishment of an investment vehicle between DP World and CDPQ and sale of equity stake in Canadian assets by DP World to CDPQ ($3.7 bn), leading on multiple working capital transactions and debt refinancing transactions over $1 bn from US capital markets, raising $700 mm for acquisition financing of assets in Australia, organizing over $500 mm of trade credit lines in Singapore, raising over $600 mm for infrastructure financing from China, Sale of a technology business at Soltius for $45 mm
